Project Las Vegas, held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Centre, is a mega trade show or fashion event rather, featuring some of the world’s most advanced contemporary fashions. Project LV is taking place this year from Feb 13-Feb 15 and I’m on deck with the Blogger Project, curated by Marcus Troy, covering the 3 day show on my blog, twitter, Instagram. I spent day one running around, getting acquainted, snapping photos and catching up with my fashion peers, and finally got a chance to catch up on some much needed blogging.
Check out some highlights from Day 1 and keep up with me on Twitter or Instagram for updates.

Pharrell made his rounds and stopped by his Billionaire Boys Club booth.
Sandbox Studios (based out of New York) has an awesome photo studio set up where brands can either shoot a looks for a look book or attendees can take some fun photos, which they print on the spot and take with them. The photos can also be downloaded online via a username and password. Sandbox Studios is based out of New York and provides a full service or a-la-cart that produces visual content from one to thousands of photos. Be sure to stop by the booth and have a papparazzi moment.
Stopped by the Nobis booth to catch up with my old friend JD. Being that I’m Canadian, I’m too familiar with Nobis outerwear, which is based out of Canada and focuses on providing high quality outwear, both fashionable and functional, inspired by a combination of military classics, 60′s Olympics/retro ski-wear, the Native Canadian and the Nomadic world traveler.
Why dish out $2000 for Balenciaga or $5000 for a Chanel flap when you can get one of these fun, thrifty little totes by Thursday Friday? Thursday Friday is an LA based brand created by Roni Brunn and Olena Sholomytska. The Balenciaga version pictured above retail for $65 but are also available in a myriad of iconic bags including Chanel, Miu Miu and more.
Visited my girl Jess at the Native booth. Native Shoes is yet another Canadian based brand that is inspired by classic, casual silhouettes, but made with the lightest and most comfortable material available.
